Very good and friendly staff :)

Excellent welcome, no reservation but they found us a table. We didn't wait long for our orders. The staff were friendly and smiling despite the heat! Very good food, perfectly cooked. The place was very quiet. The only downside was the flies coming out in the heat... but that's not the restaurant's fault. A few citronella candles might help keep them away 🤔

Quick and friendly service, perfectly cooked meat, water brought without having to ask the waitress, fresh and delicious dessert, and very good Irish coffee.

The pizzas and pasta dishes are very good. A major drawback is the extremely unpleasant young waitress who (among other things) rolls her eyes if you haven't chosen your order within five minutes of arriving… Luckily, the owners are lovely! (Opposites attract 🤣)

Poor value for money. We were told the tap water was yellow and therefore undrinkable. Great during a heatwave! We ordered overpriced bottled water. It makes you wonder if it was deliberate, because when we asked for more water, they told us the tap water was safe to drink again. The food was really terrible; the croutons in the Caesar salad were burnt. €2.50 extra for an egg. We definitely won't be back.

I've never been to this restaurant before, and I understand why… The owner's welcome was passive-aggressive, and he made offensive remarks. We decided to have a drink anyway. I support the waitress, who was clearly fed up, and I understand why, given her boss! The cocktails were flat, the glasses were sticky, and the table was barely clean…

Where to begin… We came to dine at this restaurant for the first time, initially drawn by its lovely setting on the Place des Cordeliers. But it was probably the worst culinary experience of my life. We ordered the pasta with clams and the "butcher's cut." After an interminable hour's wait, we received two dishes whose contents were difficult to describe. A piece of beef (if you can call it that) ordered rare, served medium-rare, sent back to the kitchen, and then served medium again. And pasta like I've never tasted before: tasteless, with a watery sauce made primarily of defrosting shellfish water, no herbs, no salt, and topped with crushed shells that made the whole thing inedible. The waitress (who was otherwise very friendly) advised us to complain about this disaster. The owner thought it would be a nice gesture to offer us the only drink we ordered, a €3 Pepsi (and he seemed to expect thanks for this kind gesture). In short, this restaurant is best avoided on all counts. The only edible items on the menu are probably the pizzas, but we won't risk going back; we'll pass!

First of all, a wonderful welcome. The staff are incredibly attentive and very friendly. The food is delicious and plentiful. Great atmosphere. A lot of kindness and generosity. It's a welcoming place where you can come as a couple, with family, or with friends. We highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back. THANK YOU. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
