We came as a family (4 adults and two children) on Friday evening, July 10th (7:30-8:00 PM) and asked for our meal. The waiter told us it wasn't possible because there were no tables available, even though there were plenty of empty ones. The waiter said that all the empty tables we could see were reserved, but I don't think you make reservations for tables of four... He told us that if we wanted to eat, it would only be at the standing tables, which wasn't possible with two young children. I'm very disappointed, especially since I enjoy eating at this restaurant. One thing is for sure: we won't be going back to Valmy. I know perfectly well that there was space available, and it was clear we were in the way. Too bad for them; we went to the one next door, where we received a very warm welcome.

We ordered three dishes: pizza, linguine, and lasagna. The lasagna portion was a bit small, but it was served in standard ramekins, so it was a typical portion size. Okay. The pizzas were good, but the dough was probably a day old and a bit dry. As a big pizza fan, I was disappointed by the dough, but the fresh and flavorful ingredients made up for it. Too much tomato sauce, not enough meat (Bolognese pizza)—just my personal opinion. The linguine, on the other hand... the portion was really small, and the recipe called for cream, but it didn't. There was no cream in the pasta. Yet everything else started off well: the meat, the eggs, the pasta was cooked perfectly. What a shame. A few minor issues here and there, a comment that was a bit harsh in its wording but generous in its rating. Go for it! I've never been disappointed enough to give a bad rating to a restaurant in this chain!

Honestly, just keep walking. The veal Milanese tasted like anything but veal, and the pasta was so overcooked you'd eat it in a nursing home. And the best part is when an employee tells you, "Don't come here for the meat." That's for sure. Last time I'm setting foot in this chain.

Very warm welcome

We stopped at Del Arte last night for dinner around 8:30 pm. The restaurant wasn't very busy, and we waited 20 minutes before a waiter finally took our order. The pizzas arrived 10 minutes later, so the timing was fine. We finished our main course, and then there was an interminable wait to order dessert. No waiters came out onto the terrace; they were all busy cleaning tables inside or doing other things. Twenty-five minutes passed, and we left without being able to order dessert. The waiter asked if everything was alright, and we explained the problem. His response? "Oh, okay, I understand." Not an apology, not the slightest consideration. A truly deplorable and nonchalant attitude. We didn't have a good time because we couldn't finish our meal properly and left very frustrated.

This place is fantastic, everything is delicious and the servers are very friendly.
