La cabane de papa

Back from vacation July 19th 😪 (everyone gets their turn). We were looking for a place to eat. I found Dad's cabin on Google Maps, a slight detour of about 20 minutes round trip on the highway. We weren't disappointed at all; it's a nice change from the big chains, and here the food really fills you up, and not just for a few minutes. 5 different meals and three fries. Why 4 stars and not 5... perfection doesn't exist. I would have liked to give it 2 stars for the fries. Yes, we're Belgian, and the fries were the only downside. Please, a larger size, a first fry at about 140 degrees to poach the fries, and once cooled, a second fry at about 180 degrees. The hamburgers and my son's chicken were very good quality. I would have liked to try your homemade hamburger buns, but my sesame allergy prevents me from doing so. Your welcome, your attentiveness in helping us choose and explaining the dishes... absolutely top-notch. They accept dogs and provide water. I'm absolutely certain that if I'm ever in the area again for a meal, I know where I'll be going. All the best.

We had a wonderful time at La Cabane de Papa in Bressey-sur-Tille. The welcome was warm and the staff were very pleasant, smiling, and attentive. The dishes were generous, well-prepared, and above all, delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. We highly recommend this place and will gladly return.
